Stainless steel submersible pump service and maintenance

For this reason, the impeller can be adjusted to the appropriate position by increasing or decreasing the shim on the shaft, and the technical state can be restored to avoid jamming.


In the process of use, the motor inlet and outlet holes as well as the water pump inlet hood should be cleaned frequently to prevent blockage.


Regularly check whether the power supply and water pump start protector is damaged; Are screws and nuts loose?


Before long-term placement or long-term disuse of the water pump to use again, should be disassembled pump housing disc impeller, so that its rotation is flexible. To prevent damage to the surface during use, the anti-rust coating causes the parts to rust to die and can not work properly and burn out the motor.


Focus on repair quality. When the pump is out of order, it should be repaired by the professional manufacturer or the maintenance department designated by the manufacturer. Ensure the quality and performance of pump maintenance.


Common troubleshooting of stainless steel submersible pump


(1) the pump cannot be started

In one case, the motor does not turn and does not make any noise after closing the switch. This shows that the circuit is not clear, should check the power circuit is broken at this time, whether the insurance fuse, if the same is often likely to be the motor stator windings burned out, should be removed to replace the wire. Another situation is that the motor does not turn after closing and is accompanied by a "buzzing" sound. In this case, the machine should stop immediately for inspection. The reasons are as follows:


There is a phase gap between the power line and the stator winding, forming a phase operation.


The voltage is too low. The reason may be that the power supply voltage is low, the cable is too long and the section is small, and the transformer capacity is small, which should be checked one by one.


Pump body has foreign matter, bearing damage stuck, occur "package shaft", "bite" and other phenomena, then the pump should be put forward to check and clean.


(2) no water comes out, little or indirect water comes out after the pump is started.


The reasons for the failure are as follows:

The overcurrent parts, such as the water filter, the water pipe, the diversion housing, are seriously blocked or the water pipe is broken. Ammeter readings often increase and the needle swings violently. Stop immediately to check and clean up.

The motor runs normally but produces little water. The reason is that the pump configuration is not reasonable, the actual head and the rated head of the pump exceed too much, need to replace a higher head pump. It is also possible to reverse the pump, just the lead line any two relative can be adjusted. If the sealing ring or impeller is excessively worn, it should be removed and replaced in time.

Motor operation is normal but no water, the main reason is in the pumping process of the dynamic water level down too much, can be the valve of the water supply pipe to small or put the pump below the moving water surface of half a meter.


(3) the unit rotates the violent vibration noise

The reasons are as follows:

The guide bearing of the water pump is worn, the shaft swings in the bearing, or due to shaft bending caused by partial wear, at this time the ammeter degree increases, the pointer swings violently, the unit vibration, should stop immediately to replace the guide bearing or alignment shaft.


Impeller fastening bolts loose, impeller and guide housing collision friction, resulting in vibration of the pump body, should be hoisted out of the pump, bolt fastening.


Thrust bearing wear, so that the impeller front baffle and tube friction, ammeter pointer swing violent. If there is obvious friction sound, the thrust bearing should be replaced immediately, and the impeller should be replaced when the impeller is badly worn.


The balance between the rotor of the motor and the rotating part of the pump itself is not qualified. The rotor of the motor and the impeller of the pump should be taken out for the static balance test, so as to reach the balance state.


Reasonable design and excellent manufacture are important prerequisites for the service life of water pumps. Reasonable use and timely maintenance are also important means to give full play to the potential of products and extend their expected service life. Only by making the pump run without faults, finding faults and eliminating them in time, avoiding expansion and reducing maintenance times and costs, can the maximum efficiency of the pump be brought into play.
